		<description>Back in January I was at Toronto’s Enterprise Camp – focused on Web 2.0 in the  Enterprise. Of course their was a lot of discussion of social networks – but more interesting was some of the applications that are tangential to social networks.

One of those was a very interesting presentation by Sandy Kemsleys (http://www.ebizq.net/blogs/column2) on tagging in Business Process Management. Her point being that BMP is about the line of responsibility – tagging open the process to an informal network of mentors, previous position holders and people within the organization with an interest in tracking the outcome of the process.

Also interesting was Bryce Johnson’s (www.thechickentest.com) discussion of tagging and structured ontology’s focused on how different groups use words (tags) in different ways at different times opens the potential of vastly improving enterprise search.

The point being that while social engagement is the key to productivity in the new enterprises, there are a lot of opportunities beyond social networks. starts with .</description>
